This paper will explore the current e-Commerce offerings and take a look at the role of XML and Unicode in allowing multilingual and multinational e-Commerce to take place. xCBL 3.0 will be used as the basis for the talk, with mappings to other standards such as xEDI and RosettaNet. In addition, the difficulties and frustrations of linking legacy commerce systems to new standards will be addressed. |
