Thomas Emerson - Basis Technology CorporationTom Emerson is a senior software engineer and computational linguist in Basis Technology's products group, where he develops Basis's Chinese Morphological Analyzer and Chinese Script Converter. He has spent more time figuring out the morass of Chinese encodings and their relationship than he cares to admit. When he isn't in the Chinese Room, he works on linguistic analysis software for Korean, Thai and Hindi. |
