Building International Applications with Visual Studio.NETAchim Ruopp - Microsoft Corporation
Visual Studio.NET makes it easy to develop globalized and localized applications for the .NET Developer Platform and Windows. This talk covers how Visual Studio.NET allows working with Unicode source files and projects and how the built-in compilers support this. Next the talk will explain how the development environment enables the creation and editing of localized Windows Forms which fully support the new .NET Framework resource model. After that internationalization features for Web Forms and Web Services are introduced. The talk concludes with the introduction of internationalization enhancements for developers working with native C++ code and internationalization support for application deployment. |
