    AIRPORTS
   
    For those traveling by air, the nearest major airports are Reagan National 
    Airport, Dulles International Airport and Baltimore/Washington International 
    Airport (BWI).
   
    Transportation: Rental cars, taxi service, Metrorail, Washington Flyer Coach, 
    and SuperShuttle services are available from all airports.
   
    DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS
   
    From Dulles International Airport:
   
    Take the Dulles Airport Toll Road to Route 66 East. Proceed East on Route 66. 
    After crossing the Roosevelt Bridge and entering Washington, DC, exit onto
    Constitution Avenue. Stay on Constitution until you reach 18th Street. Make a 
    left onto 18th and through an underpass under Dupont Circle. After you pass the
    Hilton on your right, you will go another 1 mile, crossing over the Taft Bridge
    and Rock Creek Park. At the end of the bridge, make a left onto Calvert Street.
    The Omni Shoreham will be on your left at 2500 Calvert Street, NW.
   
    From Reagan National Airport:
   
    Follow George Washington Pkwy. northbound to D.C.; Continue past the Pentagon 
    to the Memorial Bridge; While on the Bridge merge into right lane and exit at
    Independence Dr.; Follow Independence Dr. back under the bridge along the
    Potomac River (this becomes Rock Pkwy.); Merge into left lane; Road splits
    after passing under Bridge, merge left; Road splits again, continue to merge
    left; First traffic light is Calvert Street; Turn left onto Calvert Street;
    Hotel is located on the left.
   
    From Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI):
   
    Proceed through the airport and follow the signs for I-95 South. Take 495 West
    towards Silver Spring to Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue South) towards Washington,
    DC. Proceed South on Connecticut Avenue for approximately five miles.  The
    National Zoo will be on your left. Proceed another five blocks and make a right
    onto Calvert Street. The Omni Shoreham Hotel will on your left at 2500 Calvert
    Street, NW.
   
    From Richmond, VA:
   
    Take I-95 North. I-95 becomes 395 North when you reach Springfield, VA.  
    Continue on 395 North to Exit #8B. Take the Memorial Bridge exit. On the 
    bridge, get in the right lane and bear to the right off the bridge - i.e.,
    Cloverleaf, until you are on the road below the bridge (Rock Creek Parkway).
    Stay left through the park taking the Calvert Street exit.  The Omni Shoreham
    Hotel is at the top of the hill on the left.
   
    From Virginia:
   
    95 North to 395 North: Take Memorial Bridge exit #8B.  Stay in the right lane; 
    continue right off the bridge onto Rock Creek Parkway.  Follow Rock Creek 
    Parkway to the Calvert Street exit. Turn left onto Calvert Street and the Omni 
    Shoreham Hotel is on the left.
   
    Routes 66 or 50: Take the Roosevelt Bridge and get in the left lane. Take the
    first exit (E Street - road splits). Follow the signs for Rock Creek Parkway.
    Take Rock Creek Parkway to Calvert Street exit. The Omni Shoreham Hotel is on
    the left.
   
    From Maryland:
   
    495 (The Capital Beltway): Exit Connecticut Avenue towards Chevy Chase and 
    Washington, DC. Travel Connecticut Avenue four (4) miles, passing Washington
    National Zoo on the left, to Calvert Street.  Turn right onto Calvert Street
    and the Omni Shoreham is on the left.
   
    From Philadelphia:
   
    Take I-76 to I-95 South through Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. Take 495
    West towards northern Virginia - Exit #33 - Connecticut Avenue South into
    Washington, DC. Go approximately four (4) miles and the National Zoo is on the
    left.  Continue another three (3) blocks to Calvert Street. Turn right onto 
    Calvert Street and the Omni Shoreham is on the left.
